Ammonia

Ammonia is one of the best products that you can use to clean glass, windows and mirrors. And that's because this product has a great degreasing and cleaning effect, with which you will get amazing results. Dilute the ammonia in a little water- always be cautious, as it is an abrasive product - and proceed to clean your glasses.

Vinegar

Also, when it comes to polishing your glasses, mixing water with vinegar and spraying it onto the surfaces to be cleaned works a treat. To do this, put the mixture into a spray bottle and thus apply this preparation directly onto the marks on the glass. To achieve even better results, we recommend using hot or warm water to remove dirt more easily. This trick is also perfect for eliminating watermarks on glass.

You can use vinegar to clean and brighten other surfaces as well, learn how in our article about household uses of vinegar.

Starch

Another trick to remove dirt from glasses is to dilute starch (a teaspoon) in a pint of hot water and then spread the mixture over the glass with a sponge. Then, soak newspaper paper with vinegar and - once the mix is dry - rub the glass with the newspaper paper to remove the starch.
