One of the most important elements of a bathroom yet, most resistant to being clean, is the shower door. Limescale slowly sticks to the glass of the screen causing it to look dull on many occasions. However, maintaining a clean shower door is not that difficult if you follow a few simple tips. At OneHowTo we reveal them to you.

Steps to follow:
1

There are specific products on the market for removing limescale from glass surfaces. You'll find them in the cleaning isle of the supermarket.

2

If you want to try out a homemade product to clean the shower door, you must mix white vinegar with baking soda. What you get is a somewhat thick mixture and you must spread it over the partition. Let it stand there for about fifteen minutes and with a damp sponge remove debris.

3

Another trick is to mix a little vinegar with water and insert it into a spray bottle. Spread the mixture well over the glass partition and leave it on for ten minutes. Again, remove with a sponge or damp cloth and see how bright it looks.

4

If the shower door is plastic, to clean it well we recommend you make a mixture of ammonia, alcohol and water in equal parts. Use a soft brush to spread the mixture. Let it stand for a few minutes, clarify it and dry it with a soft cloth. You will notice the difference.

5

To maintain a clean shower door you should always wipe or towel it down regularly after taking a shower. Thus, we are preventing limescale buildup on the screen. If we do this every day, the screen will look much brighter. We also recommend reading our article: Tips to cleaning glass or how to remove watermarks from glass.
