Secrets to leave your Windows Clean and Streak-Free

Professional glass cleaners use these 3 steps to do their job.

The first step is to get some hot or warm water (similar to the temperature you use for a bath) in a bucket and mix it with white soap. It helps to wash the glass with a cloth or a stick with plastic foam on the end of it. Ideally, let the water run over the glass surface and remove any muck, grease or dirt. Add lots of clean water to remove the soapy water and dirt.

Streak-Free Window Cleaning With a Vinegar Solution

The second step is to use hot water mixed with vinegar, use about one pint of vinegar for every 5 liters of water (1 in 10). Use another cloth to do this and change the water. You'll begin to notice that the glass gets brighter - it's a good sign. Also use purified water to rinse the glass afterwards.

Clean the Windows With Alcohol

The third and final step is to apply alcohol with a paper towel to clean the glass and leave it with a perfect finish. Alcohol will remove the most stubborn of dirt and it will also leave your windows stunningly bright and transparent.

Dry the Window with a Cotton Cloth for a Professional Streak-Free Finish

To finish drying the windows, it's a good idea to do so with a dry cotton cloth. As in any of the three methods mentioned above, we recommend that the final drying is done using a dry cotton cloth because it is the best way to ensure that the windows will have a perfect or almost perfect finish, free from streaks and watermarks.
