While we eat we can get our clothes dirty with oil or fat. If the stain is recent, apply some talcum powder, leave to dry and then clean with a brush, water and detergent. If the stain has dried and has some time you must soak the garment overnight in a mixture of mostly vinegar with water, then wash the area with soap.
Coffee is one of the great enemies of our clothing, but mixing alcohol with white vinegar and water will create a liquid that, when applied to the affected area, will help to fade the stain. Egg yolks are also effective in white fabrics like linen and wool, apply and wash the garment.
