It's happened to everyone; removing your trainers at someone's house only to discover a cloud of potent foot odor emerging from your trainers. With a few simple techniques, you can eliminate that foot odor for good. Do you not know how to get rid of unpleasant smells from your shoes? Hand wash with detergent

Wash your trainers. With soap or detergent and water hand wash them and they will be clean with a pleasant clean smell. Rub gently, and before doing so considers the material they are made. Wash the laces and insoles separately so the colours don't run. Air dry them or dry them with a hairdryer.

Bicarbonate of soda

Bicarbonate of soda has many uses, one of which it that it absorbs the smell of shoes. If you apply this substance overnight inside your trainers when you wake up that you will see that the horrible smell is gone.

Shoe Freshener

After washing your shoes, spray them with deodorant to prevent smells. If you haven't washed them, you can buy a shoe freshener that eliminates smells. Remember that perfume and deodorant only hide smells.

Tea bags

Used teabags absorb moisture and remove smells. Rinse the tea bag and leave it to dry. After doing so, put them in the end of your trainers overnight, this will stop your trainers from smelling.

Alcohol and water

Another solution is to prepare a mixture of equal parts of isopropyl alcohol and water. Grab an aerosol to fill with this mix and spray it inside the trainers. Leave it to stand overnight to kill fungus and bacteria that cause smelly shoes.

Vinegar and water

Another idea is to prepare a solution of two cups of vinegar and eight liters of water. Soak shoes in this for at least an hour. Then, wash them to remove the smell of vinegar; your shoes will be shiny and smelling fresh.
