If you have got a pesky stain on a light-colored carpet, then squire a little shaving cream on it, dab or blot it using a damp cloth, let it try, and then vacuum. If it does not work for the first time, you can give it another try.

Using shaving cream to get relief from a sunburn.

If you have a minor sunburn without any blister, applying a little bit of shaving cream can give you big relief from pain. The shaving cream is usually fresh, so the cold will cool down your skin. Apply a little bit on the area, let it soak for 10 minutes, and then wipe off with cool water. It will take the heat out, and even prevent blistering. Do not do this if the burnt has blisters or it's very severe. You should immediately go to the doctor in this case.

Shaving cream to keep your mirrors fog-free.

Fog accumulates on your bathroom mirrors, especially just after you took a shower inside. To prevent this, apply some shaving cream on your mirror, and wipe it off using a washcloth. Now, your mirror will stay fog-free for at least one week. The same applies to your car’s windshield, as the trick will keep it fog-free while driving too. You can even use it on your eye-glasses.

Shaving cream to clean the bathroom faucets.

If you have stainless steel faucets in your bathroom, then shaving cream will act as good as a special cleaner made for the purpose. Just apply some shaving cream on your faucets, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then wipe off. They will shine as good as new.

Squeaky hinges are irritating, and they are common on most doors. If your door squeaks whenever you open or close it, then apply some shaving cream on its hinges. It will no longer squeak for at least a week.

interesting...........never even considered shaving cream for anything but shaving.....thanks...especially like the sunburn relief, stain removal and anti-fogging for windshields....heck, they are all great ideas!!!
