Steps to follow:

A good way to remove the smell of paint is to put products in the room which absorb smells. In this regard, charcoal is perfect, and a natural product that will not damage the room or harm people who have to sleep in it. Place containers around the room with a little charcoal in and replace them from time to time to achieve the desired effect. We recommend leaving the windows slightly open when you use this product.

Another natural product that absorbs odours is onion. So, grab a container and place a sliced up onion in it and some water, and place it in the room that smells of pain. You'll see that is slowly absorbs the smell and disappears. Of course, you should keep in mind that there will probably be a slight smell of onions and you will need to ventilate the room to remove it. The same applies with coffee beans or granules, another natural product able to absorb odours.

Another more effective homemade tricks used to remove paint smells is ammonia. Place containers at various points around the room with a pint of cold water and one tablespoon of ammonia. The smell coming from this product fights and neutralizes the paint smell. Of course, you should not sleep in that room until you remove the containers with ammonia and ventilate the room.

White vinegar is another trick to remove the smell of paint. Place several containers with white vinegar around a freshly painted room and leave the windows slightly ajar. If you use this over several days, change it every day and do not use the same containers with the same vinegar. This product is very effective, especially when you've used any of the above and have a slight smell of paint.

Put cups of warm milk in some parts of the room as this is also a very effective way to remove the smell of paint. Milk, such as charcoal, has the ability to absorb odours found in any environment, and will not harm you or leave the room with another smell.

Finally, you can use incense with strong odours such as pine or eucalyptus, to neutralize the smell of paint. You can even use it along with another of the above tricks, such as onion or coffee, if you do not like the smells given off by these natural products.
